waaaa kapagod. The pageant took place at the SM Molino event center on September 19 2008 Friday at almost exactly 3:00 PM. dumating kami mga 12:00 PM palang, to prepare ourselves for the event. dumating ako sm nakapambahay pa. we were asked to bring all white for the opening presentation, hawaiian wear, casual wear, and formal wear.
When the show started, it was quite a moment, since there were many spectators who were watching the event, parang bigla kaming ginanahan. From below up to the 2nd floor there were flocks of people crowding and pressing forward just to get a sight at the pageant.
Ayun, nagumpisa na ang event. Nung opening presentation and we were wearing all white nangangatog ngatog pa yung mga tuhod at braso ko, habang hawak ko yung salamin ko at inaayos ang hairstyle ko mapapansin mo talagang nanginginig yung salamin, i was shaking that time haha. The hawaiian wear went good also, kaso lugi ako malalaki katawan nung ibang contestants haha.
Then the casual wear and up to the formal wear. Unfortunately, i lost the event, i didnt even made it to the top 5 ahaha! but anyway that was an enjoyable day and hopefully there will be another pageant and will again, take place at SM.
Nung rehearsal namin mismo sa sm the day before the start of the event, kinausap pa kami ng brand manager ng sm, he said that we should meet the standards dahil sa SM nga gaganapin, hindi pwedeng balahura ang presentation namin. We practiced hard for it and i know it was a success.
Dancers were invited, other courses gave their services and talent, the Make-up crew at the backstage were the best, i would like to thank the one who fixed my hair and make-up, astig talaga haha.
Congatulations to the men and women who participated and won the event, i also would like to thank the people who watched the pageant and to those who supported me, Thank you. haha.
Marami rami rin ang mga nanunood, pati yung special someone ko was there for the event, thou she wasnt able to watch the pageant exactly her presence was enough to make my day complete. Natalo man ako sa pageant, panalo parin ako dahil she was there to see me, and i was there to see her.
Sa mga naghiyawan at sigawan habang nanonood, maraming salamat sa suport. Sa mga crew at mga event organizers astig ang pag pe prepare nio, pagkatapos ng pageant may libreng Pizza Hut at Jolibee pa haha.
Sayang, nangutang pa ako just to rent a tuxedo for my formal wear. anyway i enjoyed the night, it was a nice experience, and obviously if there will be another Mr and Ms College of Computer Studies next year ill be sure to join and participate in it again.
